All stains are assessed prior to treatment. Stain removal is always a chemical process, so a stain can only be treated if it can be chemically reversed — and not all stains can. Red wine, coffee and many other substances can cause permanent colour change to carpet fibres. The type of stain, the carpet fibre and dye, how long the stain has been there, and any earlier cleaning attempts, whether with household products or by another cleaner, all affect what can be achieved. Urine stains cannot be removed. Urine can soak through to the backing and underlay, and where contamination has reached the underlay or subfloor, cleaning cannot remove it, and the carpet may not be restorable by cleaning alone. Our technician will advise honestly on what is achievable before any treatment begins.
Professional deodorising ensures the property smells fresh for inspection — particularly important after pets.

Pet hair, urine and odours: what to expect
Pet hair that has worked into carpet fibres can’t be completely removed by any cleaning method, including hot water extraction, and some may rise to the surface during cleaning even after thorough vacuuming. Odours from pet urine and other heavy contamination can also become more noticeable after cleaning, because the moisture reactivates the source. Where contamination has reached the underlay or subfloor, cleaning cannot remove it, and the carpet may not be restorable by cleaning alone. Moisture probes can show that moisture or salts are present in a carpet, but they can’t confirm what caused them. We record the carpet’s condition before each job, and while we’ll always do our best, we can’t guarantee removal of pet hair or odours.
Who we deal with
Our customer is the person who books and pays for the job, usually the tenant. We discuss the work, our condition report and our records only with our customer, or with someone they have authorised in writing, such as their property manager or agent. If an agent, landlord or other party contacts us, we’ll ask for the customer’s written consent before responding. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Yes. Our condition reports and photo verification documentation are accepted by all Tasmanian property managers and real estate agencies.
If you kept pets on the premises, Tasmanian law requires professional flea treatment. We offer a bundle rate — one visit, one invoice.
The method of costing is straightforward — a quote is provided at the time of first contact via email or SMS, depending on your preferred method of communication. The final cost is determined on the day and depends on the total area of carpet to be cleaned and the level of soiling. Each carpeted room is accurately measured with a laser measure — and if furniture remains in place and is not being moved, the carpet beneath it is not included in the measurement or the cost. Our standard low-moisture method dries much more quickly than hot water extraction, which can take many hours depending on ventilation and temperature. Drying time is always dependent on air flow and temperature, regardless of method. For end of lease cleans, the tenant and carpet cleaner have no ability to assist the drying process once the property has been vacated — any intervention required to aid drying will need to come from the property manager or owner. We recommend keeping foot traffic low until carpets are fully dry.
“Steam cleaning” is a common name for hot water extraction, but no steam is actually involved — it’s very hot water sprayed into the carpet and vacuumed back out. Our standard method is low-moisture bonnet cleaning, which cleans the carpet pile where the dirt sits without soaking the backing and underlay, so your carpets dry much faster. We do have portable extraction equipment for carpets with a heavy build-up of soiling that needs flushing, and we’ll assess this on-site. Whichever method is used, stain removal relies on the right chemical treatment for the type of stain.
